The website www.cha-label.com is managed by CHA. This Privacy Statement provides an overview of the purposes of data processing in the context of this website. In other words: what does CHA do with your data? When you visit the website, CHA can process your data (for example, collect, store, consult). This may concern data that you have entered via forms or elsewhere on the website. In the context of these processes, CHA guarantees and respects your privacy, for example by complying with the General Data Protection Regulation, which will apply from May 2018. Purposes of data processing

CHA collects and processes your personal data for various purposes, such as:

  • Executing agreements / creating orders with regard to products offered via the webshop, which products can be purchased both online and offline;
  • In order to be able to settle payment transactions in the context of the aforementioned agreements and to be able to contact you;
  • Being able to offer valuable information regarding CHA products;
  • To support products that you have purchased from us;
  • Marketing purposes and other promotional activities, if you have granted permission for this;
  • Performing analyzes of data for statistical purposes. For example, the statistics will be used to identify the needs of the CHA target group so that new products and services can be tailored to this.

 

Data entered via the contact and / or order form on the website are stored on the Shoptrader website / web store software of CHA, which is hosted by TransIP. CHA has concluded a processing agreement with this party.

 

Do you purchase "offline" products from CHA? Then CHA collects and processes your personal data for the same purposes and in the same way.

 

Consequences do not provide data

If you purchase products and services from us and if you enter into an agreement with us in that context, the failure to provide your personal information may have various consequences. For example, we cannot send you orders.

 

Permission

If required by law, we will request your permission for the processing of your personal data. We will also inform you in advance about how you can withdraw the given permission. Your personal data will never be stored for longer than is strictly necessary within the framework of the aforementioned purposes, or will be sold or made available to third parties.

 

Newsletter

We offer specific newsletters with which we want to inform interested parties about our services and products and related matters. Your e-mail address will only be added to the (specific) list of subscribers for which you have registered with your explicit permission. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can easily unsubscribe. With this we completely remove you from our subscriber base. We will only keep your e-mail address insofar as this is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, for resolving disputes and for implementing our agreements. The newsletter subscriber file is not provided to third parties.

 

CHA uses MailChimp and Shoptrader's newsletter module to send the newsletter. CHA has concluded a processing agreement with these parties.

In order to make the website work better and faster and to be able to tailor it to your preferences, certain data regarding your use of the website is collected. This information can be collected by using so-called "cookies". These are small text files that are automatically placed on your computer by the visited webpage. The following (tracking) cookies are used on the CHA website:

  • Google analytics: this is a service from Google to collect statistics from the website and to be able to display it in detail. The purpose of this service is to give CHA a clear picture of, among other things, visitor flows, traffic sources and page views. On the basis of this information, CHA can adjust any advertising campaigns or parts of the website to the behavior of its visitors.

 

Provide data to countries outside the EU

For both MailChimp and Google analytics, data is provided to the United States. This country guarantees an adequate level of protection, which means that your data will receive the same protection as when the data was stored in the European Union. In addition, both parties are affiliated with the US party Privacy Shield, an important condition from the European Commission to be allowed to process data in this country, and CHA has concluded a processing agreement with both parties.

 

Third party websites

This Privacy Statement does not apply to third-party websites that can be visited via links on the website.

 

Rights

When you have provided us with personal data, you have various rights that you can exercise. This way you have the right to view, correct and delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your data and you have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
